Clay Aiken News CELEBRITY APPRENTICE CRYSTAL LIGHT BEACH PARTY Clay poses with a fan A fantastic time was had by all attending the Crystal Light Celebrity Apprentice Beach Party challenge, on Fifth Avenue in New York City . Clay Aiken appeared to be in charge and a huge contributor to the ramping up of the excitement among those attending.  The word from fans was that Clay was an excellent host and served Crystal Light to those attending. He was careful to refill the drinks and was very friendly and grateful to the many people who showed up -after the word of the party spread quietly behind the scenes yesterday. Guests had been encouraged to wear "beachy" attire, which was a bit of a challenge considering New Yorks chilly temperatures. One guest reported that several pretty young girls showed up in bikinis which added to the festivity of the party. According to one person in attendance: "Clay sang 'On the boardwalk...down by the seeeeaaaaaa'. It was fun! Ben {Clay's good friend and keyboard player]  was there and he played the keyboards for Clay. Dee [lead singer for Twisted Sister] and Clay sang a duet at times...and at times Arsenio [Hall] joined in and everyone would sing the chorus and then there would be a toast and cheer to the drink of the day. {Peach Crystal Light[. The camera guys were there...boom and roaving." A Limbo contest was held  more than once and Clay was said to be acting as "spotter" as the Limbo contestants started dancing under the bar.  He refused to enter the contest himself  though, stating, "I can't even squat that low!" Some executives from the Crystal Light company made a showing and it was hoped that they liked the promotion of their product that they saw. It was reported that at times Clay looked to be thinking hard and taking the challenge very seriously.  A big thumbs up to the men's team and here's hoping they are able to stay in the challenge.
