"I was at a table that really didn't have crazy Clay fans like me but they were interesting none the less. One person was a producer for "This Old House" and another was with "In Style Magazine" Solitaire was at the table next to me.

Clay was amazing as usual. The stage was small so Clay couldn't do his regular moves while singing Invisible but he did knee bend and put his hand to his hand at the part "what goes through your mind". What a treat to hear BOTW live. There was a little slip with the verse but who cares he sounded great. The guy from this old house was laughing at me, in a nice way. I told him I couldn't help becoming a 12 year old girl when Clay sings. Clay also sang "ain't no Stopping us now" with Ruben. After they sang, they opened the doors to Ballroom and Solitaire and I made our way to the stage (gotta love this lady, she moved quick!). So close but so far away. We were about 5 feet away and then his bodyguard, not Jerome, swept him off and out the back door. I was able to get a couple pics before he took off. I really wanted to give him the CD with the montages, asked one of the organizers if she could pass it along and she said no. C'est La Vie.

Ladies he looked beautiful. It was a good Clay day. Met LauraQ and saw a couple other people from the boards. The lunch was good too. Some people did have video cameras so there should be something floating on the net soon. Can't wait!"

"I was there also ladies. Actually I was at the front table like 6 feet away. His coat was navy - his shirt was white with navy and burgundy stripes - jeans - black shoes. He was very blonde and YES he did run his hands through his hair during Invisible! It was just amazing."

More:

"Shirt hanging out - didn't notice a t-shirt was too busy I guess looking at everything else! We'll check the photos when I get them! Black shoes - no I could not see his socks! His hair wwas so blonde and I don't believe he had any makeup on at all - at least it didn't look like it. The lip bites were there and he tried so hard NOT to tug his shirt during Invisible! It was almost funny. This was a "suit" luncheon so I think he didn't want to do that. I was sure tugging on mine!"

More:

"The audience was too reserved for me! You could actually hear EVERY word he sang. Do you know how hard it is not to voice your appreciation when you are surrounded by so many stuffy people. However, when he was done I stood up and ALOT of other people did too to applaud. I had to do something to get the fans at least to acknowledge how great he was. He did finish the end of Invisible like on the telethon. He sounded tired, but not worn out. [She meant BOTW not Invisible]"

"Hey everyone! I just got back from the show and it was wonderful! As you know Clay sang Invisible and BOTW and sounded great on both. On Invisible he did this really slick thing where he tossed the microphone quickly between hands. They cut off his music early, and he just sang the last part acapella. Afterwards he gave a really cute look and raised his eyebrows. On BOTW he messed up the lyrics, and sang the Silver Girl part during the second verse, but covered well. I wasn't a huge Ruben fan, but I gotta admit, he sounded great and was adorable. They were really cute on Ain't no Stopping Us Now, and Clay kept throwing in some dancing. Then they drew the names for the raffle and it was over. Afterwards some of us waited outside to get their autographs. I had videotaped Invisible on my digital camera, but it only has a certain amount of space, so I deleted it thinking I'd instead get a picture of Clay. They never came out, so I was really upset that I'd gotten rid of it. When my sister and I were walking around the front, we saw their limo van pull around. We could make out Ruben's head, so we waved. He waved back, and we think someone in the back waved too, hopefully Clay. Anyway, we had a great time!"

More:

"... they kind of joked around, like when Ruben pretended to hit Clay with his sweat rag, and Clay wiped the sweat off his face and laughed. They did seem akward though, probably because it was such a small crowd, and probably most of them weren't fans. Clay kept looking over at Ruben, and I kind of sensed that he felt weird looking at the crowd. Ruben even laughed and made some joke before his song started like, "It takes a really long time for this song to start so don't look at me." I heard backstage they were having fun though. This guy told us that their manager was yelling at them to get in the van, but they'd just laugh. Oh btw, I saw Clay's shoes being carried out, and they were big!"

"Clay sang first: Invisible, then Bridge. Then Ruben sang Superstar, then Flying Without Wings. Then they both sang Ain't No Stopping Us Now. Clay did his dance move, but not Ruben. And yes, Clay finished Bridge like he did at MDA. I heard it on the phone and he sound WONDERFUL!!! The ovation sounded good too."

"..Hey guys! I just got back from the Ford's event that Clay and Ruben were at. WOW! Ok, so I got there at like ten or so. From the screen in the atrium, you could see CLAY doing sound check. The lady saw me watching and goes, "You can go in there if you want." So, I went into the room where they were doing sound check and watched them do their thing. Clay is so cute! He was laughing and just having a good time. O, when Ruben went on, I walked over to where Clay was. I was like two feet away when this guy says, "Im sorry, we're asking everyone to leave now." So, I hed to go. I had seats in the atrium where we watched it on a jumbotron. First they showed clips of all the really bad auditions, including Keith lol Then they showed clips of Clay, then Ruben before they were introduced. They each did two songs. Clay did Invisible and BOTW. Ruben did Flying Without Wings and Superstar. Then, Clay came back out and they did Aint No Stopping Us Now. After they did that, we ran outta there to the back, where the van was. After a little bit, the security told us they werent coming out that entrance. But we heard him tell another guy which one it was. So, we sprinted over to the other side of the building. We got to see them get into the van. Clay waved and said 'hi' to everyone. Then they drove away. It was just too much fun for words. I was calling everyone, "Oh my gosh, I was like a foot away from Clay..Not even!" Haha, so that's my story. I hope you enjoyed this review."

"Okay...It was amazing being there!! But I cried. Silly me!!
I was seated outside of the ballroom and when it ended I went back in because Clay was signing autographs. I got a few feet...did you hear me?? I said FEET away and the bodyguard pulled him off and behind the curtain!!
So close and yet so far!!
We were late and then got turned around and missed an opportunity to meet him at rehearsal this morning. Others met him and got autographs.
I could just cry!!! But they did say they would give him the Krispy Kremes and the other items from Sunny and Peeearly right away.
Clay, honey I hope you enjoyed your fresh glazed treats!!
I wrote "A sweet treat for Clay with love..." on the box.
I was thudding all over the place. VERY sexy!! And he sounded amazing. If he had bitten his lip once more I would have fallen over!!

A special thank you to TDIBanshee for the ticket!
What a fun and thud-worthy day!! I am jealous jealous that I could not sit up close, but my man ran his fingers through his hair for me!!"

"...What an awesome day!!!! Our table was smack in front of the stage and second table back from it!!!
We could see every little nuance of Clay's face(lots of lip action today, but not so much hip action, small stage!!!!) He sounded wonderful, I personally did not think he sounded tired. I was astounded to hear him do Invisible - he did a wonderful job of, you could tell he wanted to move around more and tug and such but there was no room for it even if he wanted to, very small stage. He did flub the verses on BOTW but covered it beautifully. The whole atmosphere was fairly reserved and kind of strange what with people sitting with the remains of their lunch in front of them right next to the stage......
Anyway, Clay looked great, I thought he had the same shirt on as at MAP and he did have a T-shirt on. I wanted to walk right up and undo a few buttons for him.. LOL!
Their time schedule was super tight, Clay did not speak or banter at all like he did in concert, I think it was just because of time. Also at the end they did not rush them immediately offstage so some of us walked right up and got stuff out for autographs. Security was trying to get Clay and Ruben right off but they did stop and sign a few quick autographs. Myself, LauraQ and Sunny4Clay were some of the lucky ones. He did not even have time to personalize the autographs though. Clay said "sorry" a few times, you know he would have liked to have mingled more, especially since this was a small group of composed fans. I thanked him for the autograph and said "We love you Clay" and he was gone. One thing he did though was pass right over a lady next to me that was holding something out but she was acting very witchy, I saw Clay look right at her, pass her up and take my photo to sign. Heh Heh....
Ruben sounded great and he and Clay were having fun onstage together."
