"The
Mayor was standing with Clay
and
he said: "Clay, I've been the Mayor of New York for a little
over
a year now and you've have only been here a few hours,
I
look to my right and what do I see...this!" and he holds up my sign that
read,
'Clay Aiken for Mayor' "
Clay
was astounded!
Inside
the bank, Clay is welcomed by a small group of fans that were allowed inside
and
by bank employees. At the request of the people there, he sang "This
is the Night" a capella!
Clay eloquently addresses the crowd of business people
and fans on behalf of the Bubel-Aiken Foundation for Special Needs Children.
The Wachovia Bank surprised Clay by donating $10,000 to the Foundation.
